NHS Wales Flu Vaccination Service 

JCVI has reviewed the latest evidence on influenza vaccines. The advice below represents the JCVI's scientific view on the use of influenza vaccines in the UK and will be reimbursed as part of the NHS Annual Influenza Vaccination Programme for adults in 2021/22.

  • Those aged 65 years and over
  • Those aged 50 to 64 years 
  • At-risk adults (including pregnant women) aged less than 65 years of age 

Please note that the NHS service specification which provides the full requirements for the provision is yet to be published.  This will describe the full list of eligible patients who meet the criteria to receive the vaccine free on the community pharmacy seasonal influenza vaccination advanced service.

Ensure you have completed all steps of the accreditation process before commencing the service.
